2017 was a big year for Grand Seiko, they became independent of their parent brand and also introduced their first mechanical diver. Previously the dive watches from the brand were powered by Spring Drive movements, this model was introduced with their top-the-line hi-beat movement.

In a titanium case measuring 47MM and boasting 600 meters of water resistance, this was to be the ultimate 'Seiko' dive watch, combining utility, the highest level of finishing, and the best mechanical watchmaking the brand has to offer.
